Welcome to THE CYO basketball league of western mass' website.  

The CYO Basketball League of Western Mass, also call WMCYO Basketball, is a CYO Basketball program with more than 200 teams from 30+ programs across Western Massachusetts & Northern Connecticut . WMCYO Basketball welcomes programs from outside the Catholic faith; however supporting programs based in the Catholic faith remains our priority.

ALL WMCYO GAMES ON SUNDAY 1/25/2026 & MONDAY 1/26/2026 ARE CANCELLED DUE TO the INCOMING SNOW STORM.

It is possibe that some programs may need to close on Friday 1/23/2026 or Saturday 1/24/2026 due to the requirements of their host gym.

If a program need to close they should contact the coordinators of the visitii\ng teams and WMCYO. 

We will do our best to post any individual cancellations as we received them.

WMCYO Day at UMASS Basketball - January 10, 2026

This year it is a double header with the UMass Women playing at 1:00PM and the UMass Men playing at 3:30 PM.

Your admission includes both games.  Note you will need to purchase a parking pass too, which is cheaper in advance.  (UMass does not charge for parking for the Women's game so if you attend both I am told that you will not need a parking pass.)

WMCYO Cancellations - Due to Inclement Weather.

All WMCYO Games starting before 12:00PM (noon) on 12/27/2025 are cancelled due to the incoming inclement weather.

Important Dates - THE COACHES MEETING NOW Tuesday 12/9!

Due to scheduling conflict!

• All coaches and scorekeepers that sit on bench must attend one of the two meetings, the same topics will be covered at both.
• Please bring all CORI forms, copies of State issued ID and Coach Code of Conduct completed.
