WMCYO Basketball End of Season Tournament  - Additional Rules & Reminders

• All game dates, times, and locations subject to change by WMCYO.

• Teams must be ready to play with minimal to short notice.  Any team that cannot play at the scheduled time will forfeit and be out of the tournament.

• If your team cannot make the scheduled game, notify your program coordinator ASAP.  Any teams that no call no show will be charged a Forfeit/Cancellation fee - so notify the appropriate people ASAP.

• All teams should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of their game.  Please note if you are the first game of the day in that gym, the gym may not open until 15 prior to the game.

• Start Times - each game will start 5 minutes after the end of the game prior, regardless of the scheduled start time.  The game start more then 30 minutes prior to the published start time.  

• Example: If the 9:00 AM game ends at 9:45AM the 10:00AM game will start at 9:50AM, but the 10:00AM game cannot start prior to 9:30AM.

• Prior to the start of the game the head coach or their designee must fill out the official book with ALL of their players first and last names and jersey numbers, as well as sign the bottom of the book attesting it is correct.  Failure to do so could result in a forfeit.  

  • It should go without say that any illegal players or players not on your official roster caught playing in the game will result in a forfeit.

• If any issues arise or occur they must be reported to the gym coordinator or WMCYO official in the gym before or during the game - once the final whistle is blown the game is over.  

  • Issues reported after the end of the game will not affect or reverse an outcome - meaning do not wait to see if you win to report and issue it will not give your team the win.

• The head coach or their designee must remain at the gym until all of their players have been picked up, it is the the head coach's responsibility to make sure that all of their players have been picked-up - NOT the gyms responsibility.
